Lombardy has announced a 50% discount on tolls for frequent users of the A60 Varese ring road for one year starting March 1, 2025. The discount applies to class 1 (cars and motorcycles) and class 2 (cars with trailers and vans) vehicles using automatic payment methods. Class 3 (vans, trucks, and buses) and class 4 (HGVs and class 3 vehicles with trailers) vehicles continue to receive the current 20% discount. Regional President Attilio Fontana emphasizes the initiative’s importance for citizens and the economy, while Councilor Claudia Maria Terzi highlights its potential to ease local traffic and mitigate disruptions caused by maintenance work on the Vedano viaduct.
