Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, leader del gruppo estremista Stato islamico, è tornato a farsi vedere in video dopo 5 anni. Gli Usa hanno subito reagito al filmato annunciando che faranno di tutto per intracciare e sconfiggere i leader sopravvissuti dell’Isis.
Non è chiaro quando il filmato sia stato girato, ma Baghdadi vi parla al passato degli scontri per Baghouz.
La coalizione guidata dagli Stati Uniti combatterà in tutto il mondo per “assicurare una duratura sconfitta di questi terroristi e che tutti i leader in vita ricevano la giustizia che meritano”, ha detto un portavoce del Dipartimento di Stato americano spiegando che analisti del governo “esamineranno il filmato e lo sottoporranno all’intelligence per confermare la sua autenticità”.
