Roma, 20 lug. (LaPresse) – Il corridore belga della Lotto-Soudal Tim Wellens non sarà al via della 17/ma tappa del Tour de France, da Saint-Gaudens a Peyragudes di 129,7 km. È risultato positivo al Covid. Questo è il primo abbandono all’interno del team Lotto. Il 31enne belga – fa sapere il team – lamenta sintomi lievi e non concluderà il suo quarto Tour de France.
